Your treatment process

Your first appointment is an opportunity to talk through what is bringing you in, and build a clearer picture of your health and wellbeing. I draw on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element constitutional assessment to understand your individual presentation. Your health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, menstrual cycle where relevant, and wider patterns of wellbeing all help inform your treatment.

What treatment may include

Depending on your needs, treatment may include acupuncture alongside complementary approaches such as:

  • Acupressure

  • Gentle suction cupping

  • Tuning forks

  • Nutrition and food therapy

  • Breathing practices

  • Movement and gentle exercise

  • Practical lifestyle guidance

These may be incorporated into your treatment where appropriate, giving you simple tools that can support your wellbeing beyond the treatment room.

“It is hard to put into words the profound impact Ange's acupuncture sessions have had on my wellbeing.

She has helped me with my sleeping, skin, regulating my periods, anxiety, among a myriad of other things that have popped up along the way.

She listens intently and works with grace and poise - one can't help but be relaxed in her presence.

Ange is the consummate professional and I recommend her to every woman I come into contact with - such a treat!”

Your care, your pace

You don’t have to wait until you’re completely depleted to ask for support. Sometimes, the most valuable thing we can do is pause, listen and give ourselves a little space to restore.

Treatment is always individualised, with recommendations based on your health needs, circumstances and goals. Where appropriate, I’m also happy to work alongside other healthcare professionals and treatments you may be receiving.

My aim is to support you with your current concerns while helping you develop a greater understanding of your body and practical ways to care for yourself day to day.
